Once upon a time, deep in the magical forests of France, a haughty prince lived in a castle surrounded by servants and opulence. This prince was haughty, not stupid, so you would think that he would have the sense not to insult a powerful enchantress. Of course he did anyway, and ended up getting himself changed into a terrifying monster. His servants got off a little easier though, at least in the looks department.
