Change of Thrones
The old King is dead! Ok, well, he’s not dead, he’s just retiring from the local Renaissance Fair. But that does leave a opening on the throne. You’ve been one of the knights on the jousting circuit for long enough, and you know what? We think it’s your time to rule! Of course, there’s a whole audition process, and some interviews, and you have to be selected by the local Renaissance Fair Board of Directors, but you can just sense it—you were meant to have that Kingly spot. So, send in your application and throw on this regal Renaissance King Costume for your interview. Trust us, you’ll be a natural.
Seriously, in this outfit, you couldn’t look more the part! With your experience as a knight and your innovative ideas for restructuring the Fair’s organization, there’s no way the Board wouldn’t trust you with the stewardship of the throne.
Fun Details
This fantastic look exemplifies the best styles of the Renaissance and makes a strong statement of confidence and authority. The blue crushed velvet tunic features metallic jersey mesh sleeves and front inset (to imitate chainmail, without all that excess weight). The wide faux leather cuffs accent the ends of the sleeves, and the printed coat of arms on the tunic represents your new kingdom! Don’t forget the bold red crushed velvet cape that has faux ermine fur trim and fastens to the shoulders with buttons. Once you get the go-ahead from the Fair's HR department, slip on this costume's included crown. It’s the statement piece that everyone's been waiting to see!
All's Faire...
Sure, we know your buddy Stu was also gunning for the throne, but he didn't stand a chance against this look! Luckily, this outfit is also great for forging shaky alliances, gathering armies, and storming castles by force; Stu will likely take it all in stride. Let’s just hope it doesn’t come to that!
