Spider-Man has to wear a mask, as most heroes do. They're stuffy and irritating, and they muffle an otherwise very cool and quippy voice. But, they do, however, hide your identity from all the supervillains who would love nothing more than to find out who you really are and go after your entire life. So, they're a necessity. We love that Peter Parker here gets to take off his mask every now and then and get a little breathing room.
