Oompa Loompas are totally defined by their hair. Can you imagine an Oompa Loompa without green hair? What if they had pigtails, or had their hair slicked back. It just wouldn't be the same. If we were visiting a chocolate factory and the staff didn't have green hair, we would probably just leave.
Their green hair totally makes their outfits too! A brown turtleneck and white suspenders would look absolutely silly on its own. But, if you put some green hair on top of their head, they turn into model material! As far as we're concerned, Oompa Loompa's aren't just Chocolate factory workers, they are fashion icons as well.
