There are a lot of ways to show folks that you're ready to have a good time. You can arrive with a big smile on your face. You can show up with a bottle of something special to share. But the best way to show people that you're there to party?
Greet them with a grito!
A grito is a trilling shout, filled with emotion that you'll often hear when listening to Mariachi music. We find that it's a handy tool for all sorts of interactions from getting rid of tension to greeting old friends. You can even use it to scare raccoons out of your yard. And while you can let loose with a grito any ol' time, it makes most sense when you're wearing this Made-By-Us mariachi costume!
Fun Details & Design
This exclusive costume is a colorful celebration of the Mexican mariachi tradition! The black suit has a subtle scrolling texture. Embellished with embroidered red roses on the jacket, pants, and the hat, it commands attention as soon as you walk into the room. Both the pants and the jacket are trimmed with red pom poms along the seams.
The suit is accented with a matching red satin necktie and a waist sash that secures with ribbon ties at the back. Complete with a wide brimmed sombrero, once this costume is paired with a white shirt and some great boots, it will be ready to celebrate with you at your next event!
No Instruments Needed
Mariachi musicians are typically masters of music. Now, you can just look like you are. Just remember to practice your grito before the costume gets to you!
