Here, piggy piggy!

Sorry. Apparently, someone left the barn door open and our favorite pig got out. You know the one, right? The cute little pink one with the round belly that snorts and twitches his twisty little tail? He's the best. He's always happy to see you, never squeals, has eyelashes for days, and is always happy to eat our leftovers. We've named him Piggles. He's kind of like our FUN mascot. We think it suits us quite well. He's always happy, a little sassy, and always silly. Pretty appropriate, huh?

You know, now that we're thinking about it, we have a few things we need to say about pigs. We're tired of them getting a bad rap. Sure they get dirty, but who doesn't if they're stranded out in the mud all day? And they really aren't that messy of eaters (horses are worse, trust us, we've seen it). Pigs are dependable. Sweet. There's a reason why they're in so many children's stories and fairy tales, and often as the underdog heroes. So the next time you're thinking about using "pig" as an insult, just remember how wrong you are.

As a matter of fact, pigs are so sweet and cool, that we even have an Adult Pig Costume. You know, in case you want to show everyone how adorable and nice you are. This polyester velour jumpsuit has a zipper up the back and an attached tail. There are foam hoof shoe-covers, and the headpiece has soft-sculpted ears and snout. The color may vary a little from the picture, but rest assured that no matter what shade of pink you are, you'll still be an adorable little piggy. 

At Home in the Barn

Actually, now would probably be a great time to dress up like a pig! Maybe Piggles will come back to investigate who his new barn-mates are. We'll just get some table scraps all whipped up and... oh.
